Read more >2010 was a year of go big or go home for Slam Dunk. Not only did the festival continue on from previous years successes with multiple stages, this time it went multiple venues in multiple cities. For the first time ever, Slam Dunk was extended to incorporate a whole extra day, so that the party could continue in the South.
This seemed like a natural progression for the festival, it had built upon itself

Read more >In 2007, SDF graduated from Millenuim Square to Leeds University Refectory. The change in venue allowed more people to attend due to the success and demand after 2006's debut. 2007 saw the start of a long standing relationship between Slam Dunk and the Uni, and SDF has been held there every year since.
Also a one day event, 2007's line-up certainly saw ska take a front seat but still provided a well

Read more >2006 saw the very first inception of Slam Dunk Festival take place in Leeds' Millenium Square, and it was quite different to the two day, two location behemoth you are all used to now!
Starting fairly humble, the very first SDF was a one day event featuring just seven bands. But that is not to demote it's status at the time of it happening. The Slam Dunk organisers brought together the best of comtemporary
